Since 2019, the Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) has held the Volunteer Friend badge, which recognises organisations that stand out for their professional approach to involving, supporting and working with volunteers. The festival has also received the title of Best Volunteer Engager, presented by President Alar Karis at the annual recognition event celebrating outstanding contributors to Estonian civil society.

The PÖFF30 volunteer team has a role for all kinds of talents. You could welcome international film guests, help organise premieres and special events, create content, capture the festival as part of the photo or video team, or get involved in marketing, production, communications, logistics or cinema operations. Some roles will take you onto the Black Carpet, others behind the camera or into the festival’s invisible backstage, but every volunteer plays a part in bringing PÖFF30 to life.

PÖFF volunteers are one big, hardworking, fun and thrifty pack. All our volunteers receive training according to their tasks and a personal card to watch films for free at the festival during their free time. In addition, we offer special events, various discounts, nice company, unique work experience, etc. It's great with us!
